Implementation of ETS surcharge with effect from October 1st, 2024

Effective from October 1st, 2024 

Please be advised that Ocean Network Express (ONE) will be implementing an ETS surcharge starting from January 1st, 2024 until further notice. Tariff of ETS surcharge will be segregated depending on Trades and its amount and logic will be revised and updated every quarter. For more details, please refer to the attached customer advisory for the ETS surcharge tariff for the period of October to December 2024.

The implementation of the ETS surcharge is based on the extension of the directive of EU ETS toward maritime/shipping sectors starting from January 1st, 2024. For more details of the global approach for GHG emission reduction or overview of EU ETS , please refer to our announcement made on October 30th 2023 (here).
