São Paulo, June 8, 2026 – Ocean Network Express (ONE), one of the world's largest shipping companies, successfully consolidated its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) action plan across Latin America during Fiscal Year 2025. Aligned with its global commitment to creating positive impacts in the regions where it operates, ONE Latin America recorded significant growth in employee engagement and the implementation of local projects.

Reflecting the continuous strengthening of its volunteer culture, the Latin American region surpassed 100 completed socio-environmental activities throughout the fiscal year. This represents a 529% increase in projects executed since 2022. Compared to the previous year alone, local initiatives grew by more than 48%, demonstrating the maturity and expanding reach of the company's impact strategy throughout the region.

Beyond financial support, the primary driver behind these results was human capital: more than 2,500 volunteers participated in initiatives across the 11 countries where the company maintains offices in the region.

Structured Initiatives Aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals

ONE’s impact management model is guided by a clear policy that ensures transparency, accountability, and public benefit. In Latin America, all projects were fully connected to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), focusing efforts on areas where the company can generate the greatest positive transformation:

  • Environment: Focused on ecological conservation, teams led regional initiatives to restore green areas through native tree planting and organized large-scale beach cleanup campaigns, helping mitigate the environmental impact of improper waste disposal in coastal ecosystems.
  • Education: Believing that learning is the foundation of the future, ONE provided essential support to schools in highly vulnerable communities by supplying educational materials, improving recreational and educational infrastructure, and encouraging children and young people to remain in school.
  • Community: To strengthen social well-being, the company established consistent local partnerships for the ongoing distribution of meals, support for nursing homes, and winter clothing donation campaigns. Additional support was also provided to NGOs dedicated to caring for and treating children facing serious medical conditions.
