ONE Update #1 - OPERATIONAL IMPACT AND SERVICE SUSPENSIONS IN VENEZUELA
ONE Customer,
In light of the severe infrastructure damage and ongoing rescue operations following the earthquakes on June 24, 2026, Ocean Network Express (ONE) is taking immediate steps to safeguard our personnel, vessels, and customers’ cargo. Due to critical disruptions in port activities, customs, and local inland logistics, our services have been significantly disrupted, and safety remains our highest priority.
Current Operational Status & Contingency Actions:
- Port Operations: Commercial operations at the Port of La Guaira have not yet been authorized to resume. As a result, operations through this terminal remain suspended until further notice.
- Cargo in Transit (On Board): For shipments originally bound for La Guaira, plans are underway to discharge the cargo at Puerto Cabello, where the transit will be officially terminated.
- Booking Acceptance: Acceptance of all new bookings to and from Venezuela has been suspended until further notice.
The discharge of the cargo at Puerto Cabello shall constitute full performance of Ocean Network Express' obligations under the Contract of Carriage, in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Bill of Lading.
ONE stands in solidarity with the people of Venezuela during this challenging time. Our teams are working tirelessly and assessing the situation voyage by voyage to maintain cargo flows as safely and efficiently as circumstances allow.
Should you have any questions or require clarification on specific shipments, please consult your local ONE representative or reach out via ONE Chat.
We sincerely thank you for your understanding, patience, and cooperation during this exceptional event.
Thank you for shipping with ONE.
