ONE Launches New ABC Islands Service, Expanding Caribbean Connectivity
ONE (Ocean Network Express), the sixth largest shipping company in the world, announces the launch of its new ABC Islands service, connecting the islands of Aruba, Bonaire and Curaçao to its global network.
Expected to start in the third week of November 2024, the ABC Islands service will provide customers with access to key markets in Asia, Europe, North America and South America. The service will feature a strategic port route including Manzanillo (Panama), Barranquilla (Colombia), Cartagena (Colombia), Willemstad (Curaçao), Barcadera (Aruba) and a local feeder service between Willemstad and Kralendijk (Bonaire).
Highlights of the new service to the ABC Islands:
- Numerous connections to/from Asia, Europe, the west and east coasts of the USA, the US Gulf, Mexico and both coasts of South and Central America;
- Strategic port rotation in key Caribbean locations;
- Dedicated feeder service: reliable local operations between Willemstad and Kralendijk.
This expansion is possible thanks to a new partnership with Globalline Inc., which will act as ONE's third party agent in the region. The agency's expertise in the local market, combined with ONE's global network, will guarantee quality service and enhanced customer care.
“As the sixth largest shipping company in the world, ONE is constantly looking for new opportunities to meet the needs of our customers. The launch of the ABC Islands service demonstrates our commitment to expanding our presence in the Caribbean and offering efficient logistics solutions to companies in the region”, comments Mauricio Campello, Vice President of Marketing & Commercial at ONE Latin America.
